Praxis Disability Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Praxis Consulting, was formed in 2010 after Praxis Consulting purchased the assets of Aon Recovery, a division of Aon Global. PDG combines a mastery of the group disability insurance market with a wealth of experience and expertise in the area of self-funded ERISA subrogation and recovery. The result is a best-in-class, ethical approach to cost-mitigation services for the group disability insurance industry.

Founded in 1997, Praxis Consulting’s focus is subrogation outsourcing, benchmarking and closed file reviews for U.S. auto insurers, self-insureds, TPAs and municipalities. Both parent and subsidiary assist our clients in concentrating on core functions by reducing the administrative burdens of subrogation activities.

Our Leaders

  • Dan Dudenhoeffer Chief Operating Officer Dan has thirty four years of Property and Casualty insurance experience. He joined Praxis Consulting in October 2006 as the General Manager, responsible for all company operations. Prior to joining Praxis, he served as the Vice President of Claim Operations for Infinity Insurance. Dan has extensive experience in claim management, strategic planning, claim audit and operational efficiencies. Areas of responsibility have included Field Operations, Recovery (subrogation and salvage), No Fault, Call Center, SIU, Claims Audit, Training and the Document Imaging Center.

    He is a member of the CPCU Society and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati Executive Program. Dan earned his B.S. in Management from Lehigh University, located in Bethlehem, PA.
  • Alison Stackpole, Esq. Vice President, Operations Since 2008, Alison has been collaborating with her colleagues to develop best-in-class, cutting-edge recovery and cost-reduction services for several of the nation’s top group disability carriers. Prior to her transition to the group disability industry, she spent 15 years as a health insurance subrogation professional representing self-funded plans nationwide. Alison has a strong working knowledge of federal ERISA law as it applies to various state anti-subrogation laws, collateral source rules, common-fund and make-whole doctrines.

    Alison is a 1999 graduate of Suffolk University Law School, Boston, MA and a 1993 graduate of Westfield State College with a B.A. in Liberal Studies. She is a member of the Massachusetts and West Virginia bars.
